CHINA FLEET’S Sam Church finished runner-up in the under-16 gross section at this year’s Cornwall Junior Championship.
The eventual champion was 14-year-old Harry Hall, from West Cornwall Golf Club, who recorded a two-shot victory over
Tehidy Park’s Justin Barnard in the under-18 gross section.
Another China Fleet youngster to do well was Jack Screech, who managed fourth spot in the under-16 gross competition.
